Following two
previous Parasol singles and one single on Heaven Records
(UK), Australia's Girl of the World give us Wonderboy.
GOTW play great pop songs along the lines of The Pastels.
Wonderboy compiles one track from a Parasol single, two
songs from the import, and five unreleased songs.
We've had a great
response to the first two GOTW singles - selling out two
pressings of each record.
GOTW's Bart and
Cameron play in Cat's Miaow. They have singles out on Quiddity
Records and a sold-out, split single with Stereolab that
was released on Wurlitzer Jukebox Records in the UK. Singer/guitarist,
Tim Best, also has a new band, Hispana Tim, with a Parasol
CD slated for Spring of '96.
